Stikon S-Mount 1MM
Our S-Mount 1MM foam tapes are true allrounders with applications in various industries including plastic extrusion, glazing and signmaking. Used typically for mounting Georgian bars on windows these tapes have many applications both indoor and outdoor. The firm closed cell PE foam carrier has a good tear resistance and solvent acrylic adhesive is resistant to UV, moisture and ageing.
Why S-Mount 1MM foam tapes?
The adhesive is a permanent solvent based acrylic for lasting performance. Formulated for weather resistance, stability under temperature fluctuations, UV resistance and durability. Also suitable for low-energy surfaces like many plastics and PVC profiles.
Foam density 64kg/m³
The medium density foam offers great balance of conformability and strength. With foam tapes it is not unusual that the foam carrier splits before the adhesive fails. The weakest link. Using top quality high-density foams means more internal strength, and as such less chance of internal split.
