Double-Sided Polyester Tape DM-Fix XTR is Heavy-Duty acrylic fixing and joining tape with Polyester carrier. This long term permanent and UV-resistant tape has an Amber glasssine paper release liner and a tape thickness of 220 Microns. High performance and numerous applications across industrial and consumer markets. In Print, POS and Print-finish these tapes are used to for fixing, laminating and hemming. Chosen for clarity, exceptional holding power, longevity and UV resistance. In POS & packaging they are used for fixing plastics and cardboard. Boxes and assemblies from cardboard often require a combination of high tack and long-term shear performance. Cardboard is fibrous and when folded has a memory putting a constant strain on the adhesive bond. Leisure vehicle, converters and body builders use the tapes for fixing foam extrusions and insulation materials. Used also commonly in arts & crafts for various fixing applications. The red MOPP liner is easy to remove, and we can slit the rolls to narrow widths for small components. S-Fix PET Clear is available in 160 and 220 micron tape thickness (thickness not including the release liner). The thicker option with high adhesive coatweight would be more suitable for rough surfaces like cardboard, rubber and PVC banners. The thinner options for lighter and smooth surfaces.
