S-Bond Tape for Glazing cassettes composite doors

Stikon pure acrylic ultra strong bonding tapes for solid surfaces. This clear performance adhesive is typically used to bond plastics, glass, wood and metals permanently with some major advantages over traditional fixing methods.

Using a bonding adhesive means the stress on the joint is spread evenly over the whole surface whilst absorbing vibrations. This eliminates fatigue and corrosion often seen around screws and nails after some time.

The tape consists of a pure acrylic with huge internal strength (cohesion), which means it will not tear or break under stress.

Any secure joint created with S-Bond is fully damp and weatherproof.

Application without tools or the need to drill holes.

S-Bond is often used for assemblies involving clear components such as glass and Perspex. Architectural glazing assemblies, glazing cassettes in composite doors, sliding doors, furniture, glass partitioning and Perspex point-of-sale units to name a few. The adhesive joint is near-invisible, does not discolour or lose any of its holding power over time and keeps out moisture and contaminants.

With a range of thicknesses from 0.25mm to 3.0mm there is a perfect balance of stiffness, gap fill and cushioning for any application. Roll widths available from 5mm.

Application instructions: Clean the surfaces, apply the tape with pressure. Hold the pressure if possible, for 24 Hours.
